Education is the most powerful tool which you can
use to change the world and the most effective
way to break out of the cycle of poverty. Yet, after
75 years of Independence, over two crore children
(NSS-2014) still remain out of school in India.
These children are not only deprived of their right
to receive an education but they lose their
childhood to ear bread for a living
The government through its Right to Education Act,
2009 has been making its way in enrolling and
retaining children in school, especially from the
marginalized sector.
What Varad is Doing to Impart Education
Teaching Minds With Loving Hearts
VARAD understands the importance of education in the overall growth and development of an individual and of the nation as a whole. A literate society has less unemployment, reduced crime, improved public health, and greater political and civic engagement. Hence, it is keenly dedicated to imparting education to children (especially girls) from the weaker section of society and fostering a positive change by raising them as potential human resources of India.
We believe our increased budget can help VARAD in training teachers, providing books and uniforms on time, and maintaining better infrastructure like clean and functional toilets, hand-washing facilities, drinking water, and play areas.
